 Overview

After Jan. 1st, 2007 the People's Republic of China opened both its oil retail & wholesale market to overseas companies. On Jan. 1st, 2009 China began to implement its new Oil Tax Reform Plan, which means that the oil prices in China will be more market-oriented. On May 7th 2009 NDRC China officially issued the Administrative Measures for Oil Prices (For Trial Implementation) which furthers oil price mechanism towards market-orientation. On May 18th 2009 the State Council of China put forward to speed up the construction of reserve facilities and to build state reserves of refined oil.
Going through challenges from international oil price fluctuation and global economic crisis, China’s refined oil market maintains a thriving growth with more domestic and foreign players entering into this market or strengthening their original market share. How to get the first-hand information and the greatest business opportunity under the uncertain global economy has become the major concern of decision-makers in refined oil market.
Under the new industry background, based on great success of 1st & 2nd Annual Oil Distribution & Retail in the previous two years, “3rd Annual Oil Distribution & Retail 2010” will be convened on 27th & 28th of May, 2010 in Beijing, China, with the aim to provide a face-to-face networking and informative platform for leaders, senior government officials and authoritative experts in global refined oil industry and to promote the healthy development of refined oil market in China and Asia-Pacific region against the current uncertain global economy.
